Sculpted Leather Tentacle Book

One of a kind sculpted leather book.

This black leather book is hand bound with waxed leather cord, using traditional binding techniques. The front and back covers are sculpted into a tentacle design, and the spine features hand sown cotton endbands. Inside the book features purple leather doublures, and contains 144 pages of tea stained Canson 140lb 300g Cold Pressed Watercolor paper with dappled edges.

All of my books are handmade from start to finish. I cut the paper, design and create the mosaics, pour the casting, sew the binding. I love the process of every step, and I love that in the end I've created something that will hopefully go on to be filled with some one else's art, ideas, and memories. I try to make every one of my books unique.
