Hard Cover Fabric Book

The cover of this notebook is made of high quality matboard that is wrapped with book cloth made from upcycled fabric. The inside of the front and back covers are backed with a sage colored matboard. The book features a metal post and elastic closure. It is bound with light mint green cotton thread using a coptic stitch. The coptic binding allows the book to lay open flat, making it easy to write on every page. The pages are made of Canson 140lb watercolor paper. It holds up well with a large variety of artistic medium, making this book great for painting, writing, scrap booking and collage.

All of my books are handmade from start to finish. I hand cut the paper and boards, make the book cloth, design the embellishments, sew the binding. I love the process of every step, and I love that in the end I've created something that will hopefully go on to be filled with some one else's art, ideas, and memories.
