Hard Cover Fabric Notebook

The cover of this notebook is made of high quality matboard that is wrapped with book cloth made from upcycled fabric. The inside of the front and back covers are backed with a beige marble colored matboard. The book features a closure made using an upcycled button. It is bound with wine red cotton thread using a coptic stitch. The coptic binding allows the book to lay open flat, making it easy to write on every page. It contains 96 pages of antiqued cream colored stationary paper, which works well with a variety of dry medium, and making this book an excellent sketchbook or journal.

All of my books are handmade from start to finish. I hand cut the paper and boards, make the book cloth, design the embellishments, sew the binding. I love the process of every step, and I love that in the end I've created something that will hopefully go on to be filled with some one else's art, ideas, and memories.
