Embroidered Hard Cover Notebook

The cover of this notebook is made of high quality light green matboard. The front panel is hand embroidered with an original design. It contains 120 pages of antique cream colored stationary paper. It is bound with dark green cotton thread using a coptic stitch. The coptic binding allows the book to lay open flat, making it easy to write on every page. The spine cover of the book is made of upcycled walnut colored suede fabric.

All of the embroidery on my notebooks is done by hand using my original designs. Although there are templates that I will reuse, the details of each book (such as the placement and colors of the flowers) are done without following a pattern. This is ensures that every book is a unique work of art.

All of my books are handmade from start to finish. I cut the paper, create the designs, embroider the boards, sew the binding. I love the process of every step, and I love that in the end I've created something that will hopefully go on to be filled with some one else's art, ideas, and memories.
