Ocean Pour Baltic Birch Sketchbook

The cover of this notebook is made of baltic birch wood. The front panel is hand marbled with tinted resins creating a unique, intricate ocean design. Both front and back are cast in a clear resin, protecting them and giving the book a beautiful finish. The pages are bound by coptic stitch with blue cotton thread. The coptic binding allows the book to lay open flat, making it easy to write on every page. The paper is a 160 pages of medium weight stationary. It works beautifully with all dry mediums, making this book great for drawing, writing and journaling.

All of my books are handmade from start to finish. I cut the paper, sand and paint the boards, pour the casting, sew the binding. I love the process of every step, and I love that in the end I've created something that will hopefully go on to be filled with some one else's art, ideas, and memories. I try to make every one of my books unique.
